Finished reading Shiva Triology.. the books are awesome. A must for people who love reading mythology with a twist.
The Immortals of Meluha
Awesome book…loved every part of it. The image of Shiva has changed from God to a spiritual human character who is divine and yet human in every aspect. I can imagine Shiva as a tall, dark, handsome person who is in search of the mission of his life…
The Secret of the Nagas
The 2nd sequel is as amazing as the first one…his love for Sati, his search of the secret. The book unfolds itself about the identity of the Nagas and their relation with Sati. Everything is portrayed so beautifully and the characters seem so real, if you let your imagination free the book comes alive in front of you.
Just sharing a line from the book…..
‘Nothing much,’ said Veerbhadra. ‘Just that I have finally understood something Shiva had told me once, That the opposite of love is not hate. Hate is just love gone bad. The actual opposite of love is apathy. When you don’t care a damn as to what happens to the other person.’
The Oath of the Vayuputras
This books takes us further into the story where war takes place between the right and wrong. Here are some emotional and tragic moments where your heart skips a beat. The right always wins, how difficult the road be and the sacrifices we have to make on its path….but sometimes i think that for the right to win does it also has to take some wrong steps??????
At this thought i would like to end….and recommend all of you to read this trilogy.
